Spark has recently become the grantee of Oxfam Novib to design and implement the program of “Strengthen Resilience Options for Narrowing the Gap (STRONG)” to enhance the resilient capacity of private sector which can create innovation climate agriculture model, benefiting small food producers and processors as well as communities in their supply chain. The program is planned to be implemented in 4 years, consisting of 2 phases as Pilot phase and Roll-out phase.
In the pilot phase, Spark will provide direct assistance to a number of selected agribusinesses for building their resilience to climate change and disasters that affects not only their operation but also small producers and processors in their supply chain. Dissemination workshops are expected to be organized to introduce success cases and share lessons learnt to SME community and policy makers towards model replication in the roll-out phase.
